Why CTAs Matter Greatly to Your Conversion Rates

A call to action (CTA) on your website is more than a carefully chosen phrase. It’s also a mechanism for encouraging your visitors to convert. Here’s a closer look at why and how the kinds of CTAs you choose could impact your business outcomes.

The Right Words Can Make Offers Seem More Appealing

Writing a compelling CTA means putting yourself in the position of your target visitors and understanding what words would most likely cause a favorable response and which ones might make them disinterested or even annoyed.

Connected Content: Rethinking The Role Of Websites

It’s easy to see why social media has become the ‘front of house’ for small businesses in recent years – almost literally in the case of many independent restaurants and cafés.

Free, fast and convenient, these channels offer a multitude of functions for businesses, enabling staff to share information and content and respond to enquiries on the go.

Similarly, customers naturally gravitate towards social media because they don’t need to type in a web address, create an account or fill in a form but simply use an app already on their phone. They don’t have to contend with laggy or difficult-to-navigate websites either.

Have a Blog? 4 Major Mistakes Killing Your Blog Marketing Strategy

Did you know that there are more than 570 million blogs on the internet?

Staggering numbers, right?

However, blogging is popular for a reason. It allows companies to establish themselves as experts within their niche, earn their audience's trust, increase conversion rates, and boost their SEO efforts. But here's the thing: Only 22% of bloggers report bringing solid results from their blogging efforts. In contrast, 55% consider that blogging only got some results. In other words, most companies fail to make the most out of their blogging strategy. So why is that?

How to Successfully Incorporate Live Chat on Your Website

Live chat adds another level to your website experience you won’t get from other types of contact forms. It puts immediate power in the hands of the user, allowing them to get in touch at any time. People are more likely to trust you if you offer live chat, too. It makes things more personal and creates additional opportunities for interaction.

What are the Best Ways to Improve the ROI of Your Company Blog?

Most brands want to have a company blog, but they may worry over the cost of hiring writers and editors and driving traffic to the site without knowing what the return on investment (ROI) of blogging might be.

According to Blogometer, around 7.7 million blog posts are written every day. Of course, the number of posts varies, but you're competing against a ton of other information to even see an ROI. Your articles must stand out from any competitor articles, but also compete against the many distractions on the internet to keep user attention.

Full site editing arrives with WordPress 5.9

This week WordPress 5.9 was released. As was hinted in the BuddyPress 10.0 article, the most anticipated new feature in this new version of WordPress is full site editing. The Site Editor is a new feature to WordPress that allows block editor users to build their entire site with blocks. Unfortunately, full site editing is only available to content creators that are using a Block theme specifically designed to take advantage of the new feature.

BuddyPress 10.0.0 for WordPress Released

BuddyPress 10.0.0 "La Pino'z" is the first major release of 2022 for the WordPress plugin. BuddyPress is a plugin to build online communities and includes features such as user profiles, groups, activity streams, notifications and can be integrated with the WordPress plugin bbPress to enhance community forums.

Highlights of new features and significant changes in BuddyPress include:

The Online Accessibility Pandemic

It’s becoming increasingly clear that online retailers are losing out on billions of dollars in revenue because their websites don’t meet the needs of disabled shoppers. Unsurprisingly, more than two-thirds of disabled online customers click away from sites they find difficult to use, despite the total spending power of this market in the UK hitting £17.1bn [$23.3 billion USD].

This isn’t something that will just automatically improve as technology advances. In fact, the problem has become worse in recent years, as businesses shift to digital it exacerbates the difficulties that many people have.

socPub: Relaunching CMS Report and having fun at the After Work Pub

It make take awhile but when I make a mistake I will eventually admit and correct the error of my ways. Half a decade ago, I turned my back on supporting niche websites and focused all my effort in creating a new multi-topic website which you now know as socPub. As counter-intuitive that it sounds, the more diverse and interesting topics we published under this website, our number of loyal visitors to the website decreased in numbers. I found this analysis to be alarming and discouraging.
