A Record Number of UK Consumers Switched Energy Supplier Last Year

​​5.5 million Energy consumers switched to electricity last year. This marked a new record and suggested that people are becoming savvier about these deals. Energy UK, the leading trade association in the country, said that they had over 400,000 switches in December alone, increasing the total annual switching value by 15%.

The research found that despite increasing recognition of the importance of taking a customer-centric approach to business and investment in CX programs, ROI is the biggest area of failure with only 20% of companies scoring 9 - 10 for seeing a ROI, and 14% scoring 0-2.

RiskIQ: More than 600 blacklisted Bitcoin Apps found across official app stores

London – January 24 2018 – The world’s top app stores are hosting 661 blacklisted Bitcoin apps which leave users open to hackers, a new investigation by digital threat management leader RiskIQ today reveals.

RiskIQ analysed 18,408 apps across 20 App stores - including Apple, Google Play, SameAPK and APKPlz.

Monitoring 10 of the popular Bitcoin Exchanges in the app title, it found a staggering 661 to be blacklisted by official cyber security vendors (3.6% of total) - but still available for download by users. 

The top stores guilty of hosting these potentially dangerous apps were Google Play (272), ApkFiles (54) and 9Apps (52).
