New Study: Beauty Shoppers Won’t Try New Brands Or Products When Shopping Online

Brands Will Waste 99.9% Of Banner Advertising Spend This Year

19 November, 2020 – London, UK: Brands will waste 99.9% of digital advertising spend on digital banners, this is according to the findings of an independent report published by business messaging intelligence experts, Mobilesquared. This highlights the extremely poor return on investment achieved by digital banner advertising today—for every $1 million invested, just 0.1%, or $1,000 derives value for brands, resulting in $999,000 being wasted by brands. Microsoft Research Reveals Top Digital Security Concerns Amongst Employers and Remote Workers

Research commissioned by Microsoft Ireland and conducted by Amárach reveals;

 

Remote workers’ security practices:

·         Over one in four (26%) remote workers have experienced a cyber-attack personally.

·         A quarter of remote workers worry about the security of confidential or sensitive data that they share with colleagues.

·         One in five employees feel their data is more vulnerable when working from home in the absence of normal IT supports.

·         30% still use personal emails to share confidential work materials.
