SAN FRANCISCO - May 18, 2022 - New research from email security company Tessian and the Ponemon Institute reveals that nearly 60% of organizations experienced data loss or exfiltration caused by an employee mistake on email in the last 12 months. Email was revealed as the riskiest channel for data loss in organizations, as stated by 65% of IT security practitioners. More Banking Executives View Fintechs as Partners in Economist Impact Report on Digital Competition in Global Finance Commissioned by WSO2

London, UK – 11th May 2022 – In a global survey of 300 C-suite banking industry executives, 54% say their financial institutions have faced greater competition over the past three years from digital alternatives while 47% of UK respondents found this to be the case. However, these executives also indicate that they are better positioned to compete. Notably, 85% of respondents reported that they have, to some extent or more, the necessary technological tools to create new digital products and services. This rises to 90% for UK respondents.

New Research Shows IT Leaders Need to Upskill Teams to Extract Value from Data

This increases to 78% when focusing on North American businesses, compared to 63% for Latin American businesses, 55% for European businesses and 48% for Asian businesses.

IT Leaders Say Employees Not Fully Prepared for Cyberattacks

Six hundred IT security leaders across a broad range of industries were anonymously surveyed regarding their organizations' security posture in this heightened threat environment.
