Bryan Ruby: My 31-Day Blogging Challenge

Life has a way of distracting us from our goals. Four years ago when I decided to retire CMS Report, I did so in the hope for opportunity to find a new voice in my online presence. It didn't work out so well. Instead of being more creative in my writings, I spent more time maintaining the nuts and bolts to my websites and publishing other people's articles than I did expressing my own thoughts and ideas. I know for many of you, you find yourself in a similar predicament.

Local SEO Best Practices for B2B Marketing to Take Your Company Forward

B2B leaders tend to focus on only a handful of marketing and lead generation tactics due to the nature of the industry – when you’re marketing to other businesses, personal contact and recommendations matter. Many of us in the B2B field know that one of the best ways to sell our service is to open a direct line of communication with a decision-maker in another company, but if we only rely on personal connections and emails, we are wasting ample marketing and CRO opportunities. If you want to excel at B2B marketing, you need to focus on the best digital marketing practices, and that means investing in local SEO.

Imperative Local SEO Methodology for Everlasting Online Success

The online marketing scenario has become customer-centric as the way people consume information has changed dramatically over the years. People are now more peculiar about specifying their needs to the search engines, as they expect to get the exact information at once, in the format that they like, and in the device through which they are performing the search.

New Study: Beauty Shoppers Won’t Try New Brands Or Products When Shopping Online

NEW YORK (November 24, 2020) - While nearly half (44%)[1] of beauty shoppers in a new survey agree that they have bought more beauty and skincare products online (rather than in store) over the last 6 months, the research reveals that 56%[1] (rising to 62% among female shoppers) tend to stick with brands or products they’ve purchased before, rather than trying anything new when shopping for beauty and skincare online.

The findings come from a survey of 2,000 US and UK consumers across all genders, between the ages of 16 and 35 which was commissioned by Nosto, the world’s first Commerce Experience Platform.

An Ecommerce Business Guide for Handling Black Friday and Cyber Monday Like a Boss

Black Friday and its ecommerce equivalent, Cyber Monday — sometimes abbreviated together as “BFCM” — are two of the biggest events for digital retailers of any kind. Most ecommerce businesses see a major demand spike around these holidays, and that surge in sales typically continues to grow until after the year’s holiday season wraps up.

This makes the two shopping holidays a great opportunity for themed marketing campaigns as well as holiday deals and promotions.

Momentary Lapse of Blogging

During the summer months the quantity of articles I write and publish are often minimal. I enjoy my summer activities of bicycling, motorcycling, camping, and other family activities too much to sit in front of a computer all summer long. Not being much of a winter outdoorsman and living in South Dakota, the winter months have always been my time for focusing on my personal blog as well as writing some articles for socPub.

Important Things to Do to Become an Influencer

Who are influencers? Those are ordinary people that gained a massive following because of their knowledge and experience. Above all, they focus on building strong relationships that are built on trust and transparency. They don’t promote brands and products aggressively. They do so by wrapping them into engaging stories and providing followers with valuable information and actionable tips. In other words, they focus on delivering value to their following.

The big question is, however, how to become an influencer?

Reevaluate the way you do SEO. What changes does 2020 has brought to it?

Online competition continues to increase amid the rampant growth of new websites and pages. According to Tourquemag.io, WordPress alone gets more than 2 million posts published every day. Or 24 posts every second!

This means that it is more difficult than ever for you to get your blog to the top of the search engine result page (SERP).

Your website must meet certain criterion set by search engines to be successful. And SEO is easily the most important part of it.
