Contact Us

As socPub's editor recently explained in his post, we are limiting the number of new contributors we allow to publish articles on our website. While current contributing authors will be "grandfathered in", the only new contributing authors we are accepting in 2020 and 2021 are those individuals that are known to socPub's editors personally or by reputation. The only exception we will make to publishing articles "from a stranger" will be from those representing, known companies or service providers, open source projects or a provider of good works (such as a charity or community projects).

Contact Information for Copyright Owners

As mentioned in the "Copyright Infringement and DMCA Policy" section of our Terms of Service, we as a service provider take all claims of copyright infringement seriously. If your copyright-protected work was posted on socPub without authorization, you may submit a copyright infringement notification.

Regardless of whether we are notified through an informal takedown notice (using above contact information) or formal notification procedures (below information), once notification is received we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the material that is claimed to be infringing while we investigate the validity of the claim.

If you wish to file a formal copyright infringement notice you will need to contact our designated agent through email or mail:

Bryan Ruby

When submitting a DMCA notice of claimed infringement, you must include:

  • a physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the infringed copyright;
  • identification of the copyrighted work or works claimed to have been infringed;
  • identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed;
  • information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to contact the complaining party (e.g., the address, telephone number, or email address);
  • a statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner; and
  • a statement that information in the complaint is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
