Risks highlighted as malicious apps target businesses and their customers

LONDON, UK — 22 September 2016 — New research from RiskIQ, the leader in external threat management, reveals that the number of malicious apps leveraging top UK brands has grown by 130% year on year[1]. The study by RiskIQ, examined mobile apps owned by or leveraging the brands of 45 top UK companies across five vertical sectors, to give a snapshot of the threats facing UK organizations and their customers from 2015 to today[2].

61% of IBM i user organizations have implemented digital initiatives, but half of them say the shortage of IBM i skills is a barrier

PETERBOROUGH, NH – July 07, 2016 – 61% of IBM i users revealed in a new poll that their organization had rolled out some type of digital transformation initiative on the platform, typically adding web interfaces to IBM i applications or switching from paper to digital presentment of documents. 87 per cent of visual hacks were successful

Bracknell, UK, 21 June, 2016 – 3M, the science-based technology company, has revealed the results of a UK and worldwide experiment that demonstrates ’visual hacking’ is a significant risk .

In the UK, the rate of successful visual hacks – many of which were achieved by viewing people’s computer screens – was 87 per cent, compared to an average of 91 per cent worldwide. Alarmingly, the ‘white hat hacker’ was confronted in a global average of only 32 per cent of occasions.
