BIXOLON Co., Ltd, a leading global mobile, label and POS printer manufacturer, has launched the SPP-A200 – a thermal mobile printer which brings flexible terminal printing to the Miura M020 Pin Entry Device, one of the world’s leading payment solution devices.
The M020 allows merchants of all sizes to take payments on the move, from in-store queue busting to alfresco dining and field work applications. With the launch of the new SPP-A200, the M020 can now seamlessly provide receipt printing functionality anywhere the merchant requires.
The SPP-A200 is a 58mm thermal printer sled which attaches to the M020 and supports direct communications using Miura’s unique M-Link connector technology, together with fast charging and low profile USB contacts. Premium level printing is delivered at speeds of up to 80mm/second and at 203dpi, which creates high quality text, logos and barcodes. A power supply simultaneously charges both the printer and the PED, which has a 31-hour standby time once fully charged.
Like the M020 it supports, the printer is easy to use and durable, with a one-touch cover open feature, easy paper loading and the ability to withstand a one metre drop test. Working in tandem with the SPP-A200, Miura’s M020 provides a high end retail experience through a 2.3 inch TTF colour LCD with optional built in capacitive touch and signature capture.
Merchants will now benefit from a PED and printer combination which delivers an industry leading payment solution that is accredited to all the latest security certifications including PCI PTS 5.0, P2PE and Common.SECC as well as supporting all major card scheme brands and mobile wallets.
The SPP-A200 printer is available for pre-order in all BIXOLON sales regions.
